New media programme on Radio 4

If you’re into the media or PR check out BBC Radio 4’s The Media Show. According to the press release from the BBC press office:

Journalist and former TV executive Steve Hewlett is to present BBC Radio 4's new topical programme The Media Show, to be broadcast live all year round from 1 October 2008 every Wednesday at 1.30pm. The show will focus on the fast-changing world of media in all its forms – print, television, radio, online and telecommunications.

The programme is also available as a podcast from the Radio 4 web site or via the BBC's Listen Again service. In today’s edition, Culture Secretary Andy Burnham spoke about the future of Public Service Broadcasting and the programme examined the role of the media in the current global financial crisis and Cameron’s profile in the media.
