What's your backdrop?
So the media frenzy over Brown's first Conservative conference speech as Prime Minister is just about ebbing away. Whoops, did I say Conservative, must be all that media talk about the blue backdrop has dumbed me down.
Is this really the state of political discourse in the UK? Ironic, possibly, given that Gordon is the most bookish and cerebral Prime Minister we've had in modern times. Apparently, he's learned to rope in his more extreme vocals. Apparently, he's not relying on the legacy of the Blair years... whatever that means as he was Chancellor all along. And apparently he has opened up a bit, shared some personal history. More...
